Leslie "Les" J. Delorme

Hudson Falls, NY – Leslie (Les) J. DeLorme, 70, went to be with the Lord on Sunday March 17th, 2024. He died at home peacefully with family by his side.

Les was born May 6th, 1953 in Glens Falls, NY, the son of Joseph and Shirley DeLorme. Les attended Whitehall Central Schools and graduated in 1971. He married Barbara Chadwick on May 15, 1999. He worked for Telescope Casual Furniture for 31 years, Sears, Isovolta, CWI and Milestone Golf Course.

He played drums in several area bands, most recently CAC & Barefoot Parrots. He enjoyed playing golf, rooting on the New York Jets and New York Yankees. He also enjoyed watching wrestling and going to concerts. He loved going to Maine and visiting the ocean and making people laugh and have a good time.

He is survived by his wife; a brother, Randy, of Clemons, NY; a niece and nephew; several cousins and brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Chadwick and Wren Smith.

The family would like to thank Dr. Yun and staff at C.R. Wood Cancer Center, Hudson Headwaters Palliative Care and High Peaks Hospice who took excellent care of Les.

A Celebration of Life will be held on April 20 from 1pm-4pm at the Milestone Golf Course, County Route 18, Hampton, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society, High Peaks Hospice or The American Heart Association.
